The 28-year-old American star debuted on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé with his Russian love, Julia Trubkina. The couple faced some issues during their time on the show, with the biggest one being Betty and Ron. While things have settled down now between the Gibbs family, at one point, 90 Day Fiancé fans labeled Brandon Gibbs’s parents as master manipulators of the franchise.
Betty and Ron tried to control everything about the couple’s lives, including Julia Trubkina’s potential pregnancy. Eventually, the young duo left their farm to live separately and have some peace of mind. By 2022, the family had moved on from most of their problems and became emotionally closer.
Julia Trubkina didn’t want to be around Brandon Gibbs’s parents in the past, but now she celebrates Ron’s birthday with the rest of the family. The couple went to a ski resort and shared posts of dancing and celebrating the special day.

Recently, 90 Day Fiancé star Brandon Gibbs’s mum Betty shared two throwback photos of her husband from 1991. In the post, she is seen in a red devil dress, while Ron was wearing a leopard print shirt.
Ron has the same facial features as her son and even the smile is the same in the photos. Clearly, the father-son duo is a carbon copy of each other. Betty asked her followers to let her know what they think.
It’s interesting to see the resemblance between Ron and Brandon. Even better, the Gibbs family doesn’t have as many problems as they used to. Judging by Brandon and Julia Trubkina’s latest Instagram posts, it looks like they’ve moved back to the farm.
