90 Day Fiancé Fans Have Mixed Feelings About The Pregnancy

90 Day Fiancé cast member Memphis Smith announced she was pregnant with Hamza Moknii’s baby after their honeymoon, but the timeline of how it happened is confusing to many fans of the show. Memphis, a Muskegon resident, met TLC viewers as she packed her bags to head to Tunisia to marry her online boyfriend of seven months.

With the season drawing to a close, Memphis Smith’ plan is a success, as she and Hamza Moknii were married during 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode 15. However, Memphis also confirmed rumors of her pregnancy in the next scene, causing viewers to doubt the paternity of her baby.

Memphis Smith was immediately attracted to Hamza Moknii the moment he texted her. After being single for years, Hamza gave Memphis butterflies in her stomach. Fans have seen Memphis and Hamza enjoying “sexy time” via video calls, and those were apparently the only two words they could speak, thanks to their language barrier.

However, Memphis Smith said she was ready to get married to B90’s Hamza without even getting engaged after meeting him for the first time. During 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode 1, Memphis’ friends told her that she did not even know if her personality matched Hamza’s. However, Memphis wanted to jump straight to a spousal visa instead of getting a K-1 visa so that Hamza could come to America faster.

As with Memphis Smith, her stomach hurt and she woke up feeling “a little nauseous” during the trip. “I was not trying to get pregnant on this trip, but we weren’t taking a lot of precautions, so I mean, we knew that this is something that could happen,” she added. Then, fans couldn’t help but do some mental math to calculate the length of Memphis’ trip and his symptoms to try and see if they matched up. Some speculated that Hamza Moknii was not the father of Memphis’ unborn child.

The main reason for the suspicion was the way Memphis desperately kept pushing Hamza to get married. Some fans were unable to remember how long Memphis planned to stay in Hamza’s country.

However, it was Hamza himself who cleared up the confusion by revealing that B90’s Memphis was actually staying with him for an entire month. He also added dates to his Instagram story, which confirmed that Memphis went to Tunisia a year ago, from January 8, 2021 to February 3, 2021. Considering this, Memphis and Hamza’s baby likely arrived last year. Memphis and Hamza had been intimate soon after his arrival in Kairouan, and it’s possible he conceived on the first night, leading to a positive test three weeks later.
