Recently, 90 Day Fiancé season 8 stars Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs bought their first home together, and now Julia reveals that they are taking the first steps to renovate their new home. When Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs were first introduced, viewers weren’t sure the couple would make it.

Julia Trubkina seemed to have one foot out the door and Brandon Gibbs seemed unable to stand up to his pushy parents. However, the couple are still together and seem to be blossoming. Apart from some problems with Julia’s paperwork, Brandon and Julia’s life has been going smoothly and their new house is an investment in their future together.

Many 90 Day Fiancé fans follow the couple on Instagram and are used to the funny videos Julia and Brandon regularly post featuring their two dogs. Julia, however, is slowly giving followers a glimpse of their new home.

In her recent Instagram stories, Julia shared a photo of some vinyl plank flooring, captioned, “Next week I will change floors.” From the picture, it appears that Brandon and Julia currently have carpeting on the floor. Julia added: “I like and dislike carpet at the same time. Especially when you have animals.”

However, it seems that Julia is not quite sure which floor tile she wants to install in her new house. She asked her followers what type of flooring they prefer, carpet or vinyl, and 90 Day Fiancé fans had their say.

It wasn’t even close, as carpet only got nine percent of the vote and vinyl got a whopping 91 percent. Considering Julia already shared a picture with vinyl, it seems her decision was mostly made and she shares the same opinion as her followers.

While the update on the renovation may seem mundane, it shows a change of heart for Julia. Previously, she told fans that she wasn’t going to show the inside of her and Brandon’s new home. For now, Julia feels she wants to keep this part of her life private.

But the fact that she is giving her followers a sneak peek of their renovation plans shows that 90 Day Fiancé star Julia has no plans to keep her new space a secret forever. Perhaps Julia isn’t happy with the way her house is currently decorated and doesn’t want to give fans a glimpse until she’s able to decorate her home with her own sense of style.
