Former 90 Day Fiance cast member Varya Malina has been posting a lot on social media lately about her desire and plans to join the US National Guard, but so far she hasn’t said what her real motives are. Varya Malina used her Instagram platform to finally reveal the motivations behind her decision and her responses explain a lot.

It turns out that Varya Malina has remained in a relationship with her partner from Season 4 of Before the 90 Days, Geoffrey Paschel, since their time on the show together.

Information about their ongoing relationship only came to light after she was convicted of aggravated kidnapping of her former fiancé and domestic assault in a June 2019 incident.

Varya Malina arrived in the US on a visitor’s visa when Geoffrey Paschel finally proposed to her in Tennessee. It has been speculated that at some point she won a green card in a lottery and that is how she has been able to stay in America for so long. Varya Malina has revealed that she intends to go beyond her green card status as she wants to get citizenship and plans to get it through service and participation in the National Guard.

Varya used an Instagram video to list her reasons for joining the National Guard. At the beginning of the video, Varya asked a question she is often asked: “Why did you decide to go to the National Guard?”.
