Teen Mom 2 fans have been wondering why Briana DeJesus was absent from the family reunion photo shoot. There has been a lot of tension between the cast of the series. Apparently Briana was having none of it. She walked out of the production because she didn’t feel safe. Read on to see what made the “Teen Mom 2” alum so shaken up.
According to Ashley’s Roundup, Briana DeJesus left the show because she didn’t feel safe being so close to Ashley Jones. In August, an argument broke out between the two women and their mothers during filming.
Ashley Jones and her mother, Tea, shared a side during the August brawl. The Teen Mom 2 alumna has said that a producer came to her to try to start a drama in the studio. The photoshoot for Family Reunion was the first time Briana and Ashley have seen each other since the incident. Despite the passage of time, it was clear that there was still strife between the two.
In fact, Briana DeJesus let the producers know before the shoot that she didn’t want to be around Ashley. However, when they got to the studio, Briana was much closer to Ashley than she liked. So, feeling anxious, she rushed off the set. The producers tried to get Briana back on stage to do the segment with all the other girls. She refused, claiming she didn’t feel safe around Ashley.
Is Ashley Jones Leaving ‘Teen Mom : The Next Chapter’
When the actors returned the next day to resume filming, the mood was completely different. Whereas before Ashley had been able to socialise freely with the other women, now she had to stay away from all the other girls while filming. An insider told The Ashley that when the producers inquired, they reported that Jones was “banned for legal reasons”. Other cast members assumed this was because the altercation took place on the set of Family Reunion. However, the source pointed to controversy. “It was just so weird that the day before Ashley was allowed near everyone,” they said.
Several of the other women who took part in the Reunion special were upset because many of them had to sit on stage for 10 hours that day. Ashley was only brought in when she was needed and the rest of the time she was shoulder to shoulder.
