Little People Big World: Will Matt Roloff Be Invited To Amy Roloff’s Wedding?

Getting married is usually a joyous occasion, a kind of light at the end of the tunnel. But as you move on to your new life, how much of your old life do you carry with you? Little People Big World star Amy Roloff had to ask herself this question while planning her marriage to Chris Marek. Will she invite her ex-husband Matt Roloff, with whom she shares four children, and his fiancée, Caryn Chandler, to the wedding? Or will you leave it out?

Little People, Big World: Will Matt Roloff Be Invited To Amy Roloff’s Wedding?

Now, Amy Roloff has found love with Marek and is excited to take their relationship to the next level. But there are some people who may not celebrate with her.

“It’s not like they won’t be invited,” Amy Roloff told Us Weekly about Matt Roloff and his girlfriend.

“We already feel like it’s not something they’re interested in going to,” Marek said. “They’re welcome to come. We don’t want anyone to come to our wedding out of obligation. The wedding should be arranged between good friends and close family. And I like Matt. I get on well with him and Caryn Chandler. But we’re not friends who hang out. We don’t do things together. They’re welcome to come, but I don’t want them to feel like they have to.”

Even though Matt and Amy are long gone, they share a long history and children, so they’ll always be in each other’s lives.

“He’s the father of my children. I was married to him for a long time. He’s the grandfather of my grandchildren and everything,” Amy Roloff said. “They’re more than welcome. But as Chris said, and I would totally agree, I don’t want to invite someone because we’re inviting them.”

It’s totally up to Matt whether he decides to come to the wedding or not.

“But the past is the past,” she continued. “Things can change in the future. We’ll see. But, like Chris said, we just want people to be our family, to have been our friends and we’re looking forward to them being our friends and supporting us and encouraging us in our relationship and stuff like that. It’s not like Matt and Caryn won’t be invited.”

Amy Roloff, however, doesn’t expect to be invited to her ex’s wedding every time he decides to tie the knot with Chandler.
