Braunwyn Windham-Burke returned to The Real Housewives of Orange County for a second season. The community of Southern California is known as a conservative county, but Braunwyn breaks that mold. As a liberal, it supports the latest social causes such as Black Lives Matter and has made no secret of its support for Joe Biden and Kamal Harris. Braunwyn was recently unfolded by her castmates. The Bravo star now hints why she did this.
With the presidential elections of 2020 in full swing, Americans are more tense than ever. Braunwyn has spoken out about who she supports for the president and has raised her voice against police violence. The reality TV personality was recently unfolded by her fellow stars and she hints that it is because they support Donald Trump.
“I don’t know why [they unfolded me], but that’s weird,” she said on the Getting Real with The Real Housewives podcast. “I have a guess. Emily [Simpson] and Kelly [Dodd] are both very conservative. They’re both trump adherents [and] I’m very vocal on my Instagram about what my beliefs are and I understand that a lot of people don’t like that”.
Braunwyn said she was wrapped up in filming for RHOC Season 15, seemingly on good terms with her fellow housewives. “When I left the finals, I left speaking to everyone. I had no idea. I had been very nice. I had filmed with some of my actors, very nice moments,” she remarked.
RHOC: Emily Says Braunwyn Is ‘Inauthentic’
Emily Simpson was one of the cast members who took Braunwyn Windham-Burke out of social media after the RHOC finished filming. Recently she was asked why she took action against her co-star.
“She’s not talking to any of us because we all unfolded her,” said the mother of three Entertainment Tonight about the cast cuttings with Braunwyn. “Each one of us kind of unfollowed her for different reasons, and on our own terms.”
Although Braunwyn says she left the finals of season 15 on good terms with everyone, Emily has a different view of that last meeting. The lawyer doesn’t feel she’s in a good place with her and didn’t like the way she behaved.
“It was the last time we were allowed to be together, all six of us, and I didn’t really like the way she behaved and the way things happened,” Emily added. “I didn’t stop her or anything. I just unfolded it and, you know, there are a lot of things that need to be resolved with her.
“I’ve got the material. Go on, I’ve got it.” Emily went on. “I’m a lawyer, so I analyze things and I like facts. I don’t think anyone should jump on anyone else out of emotions or anything like that. So, I have a very factual, analytical argument about things she’s done that I find completely inauthentic and, you know, I’m ready and willing to deal with it”.
