'Royal Family': Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Might Bring Their Kids To The U.K.

In April 2022, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the United Kingdom to meet briefly with Queen Elizabeth. Now there are rumors that the couple may soon make another overseas visit, this time with their two young children, Archie and Lilibet.

However, not everyone is excited about the family of four’s upcoming trip. One royal expert believes it is not the right time to introduce the children to Her Majesty.

In early June there will be an extended public holiday to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, marking the 70th year of her reign. Naturally, this is a big event that many royals will attend.

According to CNN, a spokesman for Harry and Meghan announced that the couple will be in the UK to celebrate with their children.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the Trooping the Colour parade. A palace spokesman revealed that only “royals carrying out official duties” will appear this year, which also excludes the controversial Prince Andrew.

Harry and Meghan left the UK in 2020, when Archie was less than a year old. The couple then welcomed Lilibet to California in 2021. While Archie met the queen and other family members when he was an infant, Lilibet has not met most of the royals in person.

The jubilee celebrations, to be held in June, should be an opportunity for Harry and Meghan to bring Lilibet together with his namesake, Queen Elizabeth. However, author Angela Levin believes this may not be such an opportune time.

“I think it is wrong for them to bring their small children over at this time,” Levin said (via Express). “The Queen is going to be very heavily in demand. There is a lot she has to do during that weekend.”

Levin also shared his belief that Harry and Meghan are coming to the UK primarily to shoot more content for their alleged documentary for Netflix. “In my view, it’s another chance to make more money out of Netflix,” Levin said.

However, until the Sussexes show up for the jubilee celebrations, some still doubt their presence.

According to the Daily Mail, Harry will play polo with the Los Padres team in Santa Barbara this summer. The duke will play a tournament from June 3 to 19, which overlaps with the jubilee dates.
