Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Moved to Tears by Fan Support Following Son's Tragic Passing

Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown, touched by fans, thanked them for donations. Fans’ support for animal sanctuaries in Garrison’s name moved Janelle.

Janelle, 54, expressed gratitude on Instagram for donations made to @highcountryhumane and @arkcatsanctuary in Garrison’s memory. The cats he adopted from these agencies meant a lot to him. He cherished being a cat dad.

Her son passed away on March 5 in Flagstaff, Arizona, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Garrison’s younger brother Gabriel found him after Janelle asked him to check on the 25-year-old, who had stopped texting.

According to a police report, Garrison’s final text read, ‘I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.’ Their last conversation was brief and ended abruptly.

Janelle Brown and her ex-husband, Kody Brown, shared a joint statement to announce their son’s passing. They described Garrison as a bright presence and asked for privacy to honor his memory.

Garrison’s last social media post featured his new senior cat, Ms. Buttons, whom he rescued from a shelter. He referred to himself as a “Crazycatlady” in the caption.

Following Garrison’s funeral on March 9, his cousin Emma confirmed the details. Janelle’s daughter Maddie later shared a photo of her mom enjoying time with her grandchildren at the beach for some relaxation.
