In Season 19 of Sister Wives, Janelle Brown openly criticizes her ex-husband Kody Brown and his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. Specifically, in Episode 3, she shares her frustration about their parenting of Ariella Brown, their youngest child. Moreover, she highlights how their favoritism affects the whole family.
Janelle opened up about her struggles. Her six kids with Kody were used to his absence. But, Robyn’s kids always had their father around. According to Janelle, Kody’s favoritism toward Robyn and her kids caused a rift in the family. “He spent all his time with Robyn’s kids, and mine were left feeling sidelined,” Janelle said in her confessional.
Janelle specifically mentioned how Ariella would become extremely emotional if Kody left for more than a few days. Kody himself admitted that his daughter’s tears made it difficult for him to leave, recalling how she would “grab my leg, begging me not to go.” Despite this, Robyn insisted that Ariella needed to express her emotions, which only made things harder for Kody.

While Janelle Brown feels that Kody and Robyn Brown’s parenting harmed her children, Robyn defends her actions. She argued that Ariella’s attachment to her father didn’t prevent Kody from visiting his other wives and children. “Did it ever stop Kody from going to another mom’s home? No, it didn’t,” Robyn said. “I wouldn’t have allowed it.”
However, both Janelle and Christine Brown feel differently. Janelle criticized the way Robyn kept her life separate from the rest of the family, recalling how Robyn wouldn’t even let her kids open her fridge. Christine also revealed that her children disliked going to Robyn’s house because of Kody’s constant absence from their lives. “My kids hated it,” Christine admitted, “because it just reminded them how little they saw their dad.”

Sister Wives: Janelle Brown’s New Life in North Carolina – But She’s Still in Flagstaff?
Since splitting from Kody Brown in December 2022, Janelle Brown has been busy. Now, she’s diving into a big new project. Recently, she bought land in North Carolina. There, she and her daughter, Maddie Brush, are starting Taeda Farms. This flower farm aims to be a “haven for community and nature.” With her grandchildren nearby, many fans think Janelle will move there for good.
However, recent sightings of Janelle back in Flagstaff have left fans confused. A fan on Reddit claimed to have spotted Janelle walking down the street in Arizona, sparking speculation about her future plans. Janelle has invested in North Carolina. But, she has business in Arizona. She needs to sell her RV and her late son Garrison’s home.
In addition, Janelle has a stake in the infamous Coyote Pass land, which she and Kody purchased with plans to build homes for all the wives. The land has yet to be developed, but Janelle’s involvement in it may be a reason she’s still spending time in Flagstaff.
