The latest episode of Sister Wives revealed the deepening fracture in the Brown family dynamics. Kody Brown, now estranged from three of his four ex-wives, is frustrated. He’s been left out of family events, including Savanah’s graduation party.
In a confessional, Kody alleged that his former wives-Janelle, Christine, and Meri-were in “collusion” to exclude him from family activities. “Kody has this idea that somehow, if he leaves Robyn home, he’s going to be able to come to these family gatherings, and that’s so far from the truth,” Janelle said in the episode.
Janelle Brown, who has six kids with Kody, made it clear. The exclusion wasn’t about Robyn, but Kody’s fractured ties with their kids. “Kody is alienated from 90 to 95 percent of his children. He is not really wanted at events,” she stated bluntly.
Sister Wives: Janelle and Christine Brown Move On
Janelle and Christine Brown have made significant strides in moving on from their shared past with Kody. Both women ended their spiritual unions with him. They chose to prioritize their happiness and their children’s well-being.
Janelle, in particular, has expressed frustration with Kody. He was not emotionally available in the final years of their relationship. “I don’t even know who he is anymore,” she admitted earlier in Season 19. She also said she won’t communicate with Kody Brown, except to settle financial ties, like the Coyote Pass property.
Meanwhile, Christine has embraced her new chapter. She celebrates milestones with her children and has found love again.

Sister Wives: Janelle Reflects on First Thanksgiving Without Garrison
While navigating the complexities of her relationship with Kody Brown, Janelle also faced an emotional milestone this year: her first Thanksgiving without her late son, Garrison.
Garrison, who passed away by suicide in March 2024 at the age of 25, was a cherished member of the Brown family. Janelle shared a heartfelt Instagram post about how the family kept Garrison’s memory alive during their holiday gathering in North Carolina.
“First of the ‘big’ holidays without you sweetheart,” Janelle wrote, posting a photo of Garrison holding his niece and nephew. “We laughed about your silly sense of humor and told so many stories honoring you. We ate, played games, and enjoyed each other’s company. Everyone is returning home now and normal life resumes tomorrow. But I feel you close by.”
Sister Wives: Family and Fans Remember Garrison
Janelle Brown and her children weren’t alone in their grief. Fans of Sister Wives joined in remembering Garrison, who was described by his siblings as witty, sarcastic, and deeply loved. His sister Madison Brush also shared her heartbreak, writing, “My brother, Garrison, had his struggles, but this was not something any of us saw any signs for. We were truly blindsided.”
The season premiere of Sister Wives acknowledged Garrison’s passing with a poignant message: “He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.”
