1000-Lb Sisters: How Is Tammy Slaton Doing In Rehab?

1000-Lb Sisters stars Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton lived together in a duplex located in Dixon, Kentucky until Amy Slaton purchased a new home for her family, including her husband Michael and their son Gage, as well as their unborn child.

Amy Slaton purchased a new home in the town of Morganfield for $37,000, In Touch can confirm. The one-story, 1,584-square-foot property went on the market in July 2021.

The siblings resided next door to each other in a $239,000 duplex so that Amy Slaton could help Tammy Slaton with her health struggles. It’s a four-bedroom, two-bathroom property, and Tammy Slaton still pays rent on her respective side, though she’s currently in a weight-loss rehab facility while she focuses on her wellness.

Tammy Slaton recently shared a series of new selfies that seem to show her in good spirits in February 2022. In addition, she lost 115 pounds after just 30 days in the Ohio-based rehab center, her brother Chris proudly announced on the show’s season finale.

“I’m overjoyed that she’s ready to get on this train and start rolling down the tracks,” he gushed.

In November 2021, Tammy Slaton had a health issue and had to be taken to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. While there, she also got pneumonia and became septic, leading her to have a tracheostomy that she still wears now.

Amy announced that she and Michael are expecting another child in January 2022, later revealing that it will be a boy and that his due date will be in July this year. Fans of 1000-Lb Sisters are still waiting for her confirmation, but it looks like Amy may take a step away from the TLC series after welcoming their new son.
