After seeing how close Brandon Gibbs is to his parents, Betty and Ron, some viewers may think he’s perfect for TLC’s other reality show, I Love a Momma’s Boy. The 27-year-old pest control technician lives on his parents’ farm in Dinwiddie, Virginia. And as their only child, he has built a pretty close relationship with them.

““My dad is one of my best friends,” Brandon Gibbs told the cameras. “My mom can be a little controlling, always trying to tell me what to do.”

Brandon Gibbs knows his mother can be a bit much. And when he spoke to 90 Day Fiancé producers about Julia Trubkina moving in with them, he was expecting some excitement. “My mom sure can be presumptuous.” Brandon admitted. “That’s why I think they’re going to be in a little bit of trouble.

Betty grilled Julia Trubkina on birth control hours after she landed… Ron and Betty are a little suspicious of Julia’s intentions. And they’re worried that Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina will get pregnant way too soon.

So the couple have decided that Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina should sleep in separate bedrooms when she moves in. And before Julia Trubkina arrived, Betty made a doctor’s appointment to give her the pill. And a few hours after Julia landed, Betty grilled her about taking the pill. “Are you gonna take the right steps to make sure there aren’t any children yet?” Betty asked. “Let’s try to find a way to avoid that.”

But Julia Trubkina found the whole conversation uncomfortable and absurd. “I don’t want to go to the doctor,” she said to 90 Day Fiancé producers. “I don’t want to take medication. And this is crazy, this is stupid, and this makes me explode.”
