90 Day Fiance: Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa’s Relationship Status

Kalani and Asuelu had a rough season at 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? The couple struggled to agree on a lot of parenting and marriage issues and fought a lot. Asuelu’s difficulty communicating in English contributed to the problem, and the couple seemed miserable. They tried marriage counseling, but even that didn’t solve all their problems.

To make matters worse, Asuelu Pulaa’s family demanded that he send them money, even though he and Kalani Faagata were struggling to make ends meet for their two young children.

When Asuelu Pulaa told his mom and sister that he and Kalani Faagata couldn’t afford to give them as much money as they wanted, they started insisting on a divorce. Asuelu’s sister Tammy even tried physically to fight Kalani Faagata.

90 Day Fiance: Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa’s Relationship Status

Although there is no official confirmation, Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa still seem to be a couple. Both Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa regularly post pictures of their sons on their Instagram accounts, which would suggest that they live together. In July, Kalani Faagata posted a photo of a get-together with Asuelu.

Asuelu Pulaa also posts regularly on TikTok, and the sons of the couples Kennedy and Oliver often make guest appearances.

The couple still lives in the south of Utah, and Asuelu Pulaa has a new job with a Polynesian dance company. Hopefully the new performance will pay enough to make both Kalani Faagata and Pulaas happy!

Although it looks like Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa are doing well, the two have not had an easy time of it. In Monday night’s Tell All they looked like they were on their way to a divorce.

The problems the couple had been struggling with all season were not solved and Asuelu’s family insisted on more money. The stress was exacerbated by the pandemic, which Kalani Faagata felt Asuelu Pulaa was not being treated seriously.

Kalani’s family jumped into the fray – her mother Lisa confronted Asuelu’s mother and sister with their demands, and Kalani’s sister Kolini joined them. Tammy threatened Kolini, and the entire Happily Ever After cast weighed in. Elizabeth and Andrei Castravet spoke with their support for Kalani, and even Colt’s mother Debbie weighed in on the drama.

Mother Debbie told Tammy that she needed to be more self-sufficient or move back to Samoa. Tammy didn’t take that well and threatened to fight Debbie, and then Angela Deem jumped in and offered to take Debbie’s place.
