Former 90 Day Fiancé star Mahogany Roca showed off her weight loss in a stylish brunch outfit on Instagram. Peruvian beauty Mahogany has been one of the most unique cast members of the TLC show so far. Mahogany Roca was not featured in the trailer for the fifth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which only showed her numerous photos with filters.

Although Mahogany Roca was featured on social media, fans wondered if she was a real person or a catfish who was scamming Ben Rathbun. Ben’s removal at the Peru airport was a major clue that Mahogany was fake. But it was during episode 10 that both Ben and the fans finally met Mahogany in person.

Even then, there were theories that it was not Mahogany Roca, but a plant from the producer of 90 Day Fiancé that had been involved to continue a false storyline. Some fans believed that the Mahogany with whom Ben had chatted had not shown up, and so a woman from the United States had arrived to play Mahogany’s part with him.

It did not help that Mahogany’s Peruvian accent sounded somewhat artificial. Mahogany Roca, also awkward in front of the camera, kept being unnecessarily dramatic and repeating the phrase “Oh my gosh,” making the situation even worse. But the main reason fans thought Mahogany was fake was that she looked nothing like the woman in her Instagram and Facebook photos.

However, now that the 90 Day Fiancé season is over, Mahogany has begun to seem like the real deal to everyone. Fans have made peace with the fact that Mahogany is a 22-year-old from St. Bart’s who was in a relationship with Ben, a 52-year-old man from Michigan.

But Mahogany’s recent Instagram post about going to brunch on Saturday has her incredulous followers scratching their heads again. The law student looks much different than she did in TLC, but it’s not just because of Mahogany Roca’s weight loss. Fans think Mahogany’s face and hair in the photo are also very new to them. Moreover, this Mahogany is brazenly showing off her new look, while Ben said she was too shy to even make a video call.

With both multiple filters on her photos and her Instagram posts, Mahogany is creating a lot of “confuso” for 90 Day Fiancé fans. Her Facebook relationship status says Mahogany is single, which alludes to the breakup between her and Ben. Mahogany was also seen speaking in fluent English in one of her Cameo promotion videos, which is strange since Ben had claimed that she did not know the language.

Now, with her sudden weight loss, Mahogany has become even more unrecognizable to TLC viewers. But Mahogany’s admirers are many and they certainly don’t mind seeing her again, whether her photos are filtered or not.
