90 Day Fiance: Paul and Karine Welcome New Baby Ethan

Paul Staehle and Karine Martins of 90 Day Fiancé have just welcomed their second son Ethan. The couple found themselves in a problematic situation a few weeks ago. Karine was close to her delivery date, and deliveries were apparently not possible in Brazilian hospitals. The couple’s doctor informed them that the hospitals had been converted to COVID-19 hospitals, and that they have no “availability for deliveries.” But Karine probably got some much-needed help from the hospital, because baby Ethan is here now.

Many TLC viewers remember that Paul Staehle and Karine Martins had quite a quarrel on- and off-camera when they were still living in the United States. At one point, their fights became so aggressive that police had to be called in.

But when they moved to Brazil and gave their marriage a second chance, things started to get better again. The Kentucky-born Paul Staehle began sharing happy photos with his wife and their first son, Pierre, who is almost two years old.

Last week Paul Staehle was in a panic because Karine was not receiving the necessary medical care in Brazilian hospitals. Their doctor said the hospitals had been converted to COVID-19 wards. So, the 90 Day Fiancé star Paul Staehle had only two options, give birth at home or fly to the United States as soon as possible.

But there was risk attached to both options. Now Paul Staehle has posted a video of Ethan on his Instagram. It looks like the couple was able to have the child born at the hospital instead of doing a home birth. Since the medical staff speaks in Brazilian, it looks like Paul didn’t have to fly to America. The proud dad wrote: “Ethan Healthy And Born Very Fast.”

Ethan is getting the necessary attention from the doctors and is getting the necessary vitamin injections. Paul Staehle also showed a glimpse of his baby mama in the video, looking a little tired.

But overall, she is doing well. Most of Paul Staehle and Karine Martins’s fans loved seeing Ethan’s first moments and congratulated the for the second time parents. They wrote cute things like, “Oh my gosh, that’s a beautiful baby, look at those pouty lips,” “He’s beautiful and so chilled out,” and “You guys sure Do have gorgeous babies.”
