90 Day Fiancé spoilers discover that David Murphey has tried with all his might to find the love of his life, Lana, in Ukraine. He actually went there on four different occasions to find her and she stood him up every time. You’d think he’d have learned by now. No, she hasn’t. In fact, he hired a private investigator to help him find her and get her real identity. Money doesn’t seem to be a concern at this point. He really wants to know who she is.
David Murphey wants Lana so badly to exist that he’ll do anything to find her. The investigator talks to David Murphey about Lana for a while and he feels like she’s fishing for him and all this has been a big scam to get more money from him. He found out that Lana has a lot of dating accounts to try to do the same thing with other men. (Instagram investigators found out and David Murphey didn’t pay them!) David Murphey doesn’t think Lana would do something like that to him.
90 Day Fiancé: Will David’s Private Investigator Find Lana
David Murphey’s friend, Victoria, has to translate for the investigator. She said, “He really thinks this is a scam. Because when they checked all the data and all the connections, they found out this girl has multiple dating accounts.” Then David said, “This is a lie. She doesn’t have different accounts.” Then Victoria went, “Okay, sorry, my friend. It’s not just names, she’s using the same picture with different names. Those aren’t hers.”
Then David Murphey said, “Yes, her pictures can be stolen and used by other people. Fake websites can steal her photos. They’re not his account. I bet these are all fake websites.” Victoria said, “How long are you going to lie to yourself for? David Murphey got very defensive with her. “Let’s get serious. You don’t know her. I do know her. You’re listening to him and he’s giving you false information.”
He was so sure she was real, he even said, “I know I’ve been lied to a lot by Lana. So I hope the investigator confirms that Lana is who I think she is because I don’t know if I’m ready to find out if my truth isn’t the truth.”
At this point, it seems David Murphey is experiencing a complete break from reality. If I don’t agree with his version of “reality,” if I don’t agree with his version of “reality,” he takes it out on his friends in a moment of anger. He’s even angry at the private investigator for not finding the truth he knows to be true. All signs indicate that this is a potential danger for David, and TLC should have a policy to intervene if the situation becomes too drastic. It looks like David’s in that territory right now.
