Although Kody seemed to object that it was more than just showering, Christine said she never felt that they were building a life together. Rather, she felt that her husband was simply “stopping by” and actually “living” with his other wives. Over the course of the season, Christine shared more of what bothered her about plural marriage. Her confessions left fans sad for her.

The announcement of the split between Christine Brown and Kody Brown was well-timed, fans say. The mother of six and her husband announced the end of their relationship just three weeks before the new season of Sister Wives was due to air.

Over the years, fans of Sister Wives have indicated that they would love to see a spinoff that would follow the release of one woman from the Brown family. The time is now, but is a spinoff in the works? So far, it doesn’t look like it. That doesn’t mean it will never happen.
