Following the premiere of the 17th season of Sister Wives, Meri Brown hints in a cryptic Instagram post that she may publish a memoir. Kody Brown’s first wife hints she’s finally ready to break her silence. “There is so much more to the story,” reveals Meri Brown. In the trailer for the upcoming 17th season of Sister Wives, Christine decides it’s finally time to leave her marriage to Kody. When Christine leaves, the whole family begins to unravel. “It’s been heartbreaking being your wife for years,” Christine tells Kody.

All the wives find it hard to accept the inevitable outcome. Meri Brown is heartbroken by Christine’s decision to leave Kody and her sister-in-law after 26 years of marriage. “Christine was more than a sister wife. I felt like she was a friend for a lot of years.”

Robyn Brown isn’t ready for Christine Brown’s departure either. She has a moment with Meri Brown where she urges her to stay strong for the sake of the family. “I will never say the problem is plural marriage,” Meri tells the cameras.

On 3 September, Meri posted a picture on Instagram that sparked speculation that the Sister Wives star could write a book. In the picture, Meri holds a leather diary in front of her face.

A Sister Wives fan wrote via Reddit: “Did Meri leave? Is she writing a chat?” Overwhelmingly, fans believe Meri’s photo is merely a “clickbait” or promo to promote her personal brands or the new season of Sister Wives.

Some fans, however, hope Meri is dripping tea. It is not impossible that Meri has written her own memoirs. In the past, she has written about her experiences as a first wife in a polygamous marriage. She co-authored the 2012 family memoir Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage, which became a New York Times bestseller.

While fans hope Meri will write a narrative book, many are skeptical that will happen. Fans of Sister Wives will have to wait and see if this is just another vague Instagram post or if a book is indeed in the works.
