The couple shares a daughter together, and Meri Brown revealed on the show that she did not have any more children due to “unexplained infertility.” The duo legally divorced in 2014 so that Kody Brown’s fourth wife, Robyn Brown, could marry him.

For years, Kody has been at the centre of a large polygamous family’s struggles as he has tried his best to make each of his four wives happy. However, none of the wives have escaped the tensions as he has had problems with Meri Brown as well as Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn. “The ‘Selfish’ Kody has even been downright spiteful towards all his brides, with Meri seeming to benefit the most from his attitude.
Kody has crossed a number of boundaries and this is a big reason why his relationship with Meri is rocky. Many TLC fans still believe that the Sister Wives star resents Meri and her emotional cheating scandal. In one episode, Meri told a therapist that she considers her marriage “dead.”
Kody Brown wasted no time before striking out during this past season. He shared in a confession that he was no longer attracted to Meri. However, there were issues dating back to his second marriage to Janelle Brown. As per the family’s book, Becoming Sister Wives, Meri said her original issues with Janelle were caused by Kody wanting to marry his second wife on her birthday.
Kody has often stated that he and Meri have not been on the same page for a long time. Kody has been very outspoken, especially in the family series. He once told the cameras that he felt “deceived into a relationship that was very different than what I expected” with Meri.
I fail to see the humor of a Jack Mormon who has a bunch wives and too many kids. I say cancel that stupid show and make Brown earn a living like most of us do. This show should have died after its second episode.
