Sister Wives celebrity Christine Brown seems to have taken the hint she was given the last time she tried to wow fans of her TLC show. Kody Brown’s third wife really dressed up, almost beyond recognition. Then she debuted her new look to Sister Wives followers. Judging by audience responses, this mini-makeover didn’t strike a good note with her fans.

But Christine never mentioned it again, even though the comments piled up and some of them just sounded mean. But this need Christine seems to have to look glamorous could stem right from Kody.

It seems that all four Sister Wives rarely get compliments from their mutual husband on the show. Perhaps he saves those uplifting words for private moments.

But he publicly shamed Christine about her appearance years ago. He did so in a book the Sister Wives adults wrote together several years ago. Before they were married and when Meri and Janelle were his only wives, Kody took Christine with them on a road trip.

They made a stop and Christine ran to a convenience store for nachos and cheese. She remembered seeing Christine in the rearview mirror of the car covered in cheese sauce. She munched on the largest portion of nachos and cheese he had ever seen. This disgusted him and curbed his thoughts of courting her. Kody described being turned off at the scene. He described her as “this chubby girl…devouring chili cheese nachos for breakfast.” Thus, he noted that she was chubby.

When a young and thin Robyn Brown joined the Sister Wives family, the other three wives were all a bit overweight. These wives were asked about this during an interview in the early days of the show. The three original women shrugged and explained that Kody prefers his women curvy. But that didn’t sit well with the fans at the time, as he acted like a teenager following Robyn Brown. All the wives took it hard, but it seems to have especially affected the third woman who joined the Sister Wives clan.

Throughout the seasons of Sister Wives, Christine Brown worked to lose that weight. At one time, the first three wives were pretty dowdy. But Kody Brown’s lady number three has changed the way she dresses, too.

So, this Sister Wives mom lost all that weight. Then she rewarded herself by wearing skinny jeans and leggings. Fans adulated her new look. But fans suggested that the weight loss is due to the fact that she wants the attention of her common husband.
