The clip comes after Jenelle Evans exclusively told The Sun that she was rejected from the Teen Mom spinoff after asking the production to bring her disgraced husband David Eason, 33, along for the ride. The mother of three explained that her former Teen Mom 2 producers contacted her and asked if she was interested in participating in the spinoff.

She stated that they stopped communicating with her altogether after she brought up the possibility of bringing David along for support.

Jenelle Evans’s husband has had a rocky relationship with the Teen Mom franchise. David was fired from the show in 2018 for homophobic comments, while Jenelle was then fired just weeks after shooting and killing their family dog in April 2019. Despite being turned down by MTV, Jenelle said she’s ultimately glad she didn’t end up appearing on the new show.
