Mackenzie McKee’s future on the Teen Mom series is uncertain, but she recently floated the possibility of shooting for another reality show. Mackenzie joined the cast of Teen Mom OG in 2019 after Bristol Palin left the show.
Since joining the cast of Teen Mom OG, Mackenzie McKee has felt excluded from her peers and abandoned by MTV. She never joined the rest of the cast on stage for a reunion and says she was recently treated as if she “didn’t exist” by MTV and her castmates.
Now, the 27-year-old owner of Body By Mac has opened up about her future in the reality world and whether she plans to shoot for other shows.
’Teen Mom OG’: Mackenzie McKee Tells All on Instagram
During a Q&A on Instagram Stories ahead of the Fourth of July weekend, Mackenzie answered questions from her 1 million followers on the social media platform. One of Mackenzie’s followers asked her, “[Will] you ever participate in a different reality show besides Teen Mom if the opportunity came about[?]”
She added that her peace is important to her and that she leaves the fate of her future in God’s hands. “Nothing is worth robbing my peace,” she added. “Letting God guide me.”
On the next slide, Mackenzie hinted at her future plans without revealing much. She included a photo of her and her daughter Jaxie posing outside an ice cream shop while enjoying an ice cream cone.
When she is not shooting for Teen Mom OG, Mackenzie can be found catching Florida’s rays. She moved to the Sunshine State in 2020, leaving Oklahoma behind, to embark on a new life with husband Josh McKee and their three children, Gannon, Jaxie and Broncs.
Mackenzie’s partnership with Justice Nutrition brought the former cheerleader to Florida, where she and Josh recently opened a tanning salon. After a brief stint in a trailer park while she and her family were homeless, Mackenzie and Josh purchased a home in Florida, putting down more permanent roots in their new state.
