During a video chat, Catelynn asked Maci Bookout a few questions about her son Bentley, who was present in the delivery room for the birth of her youngest son, Maverick.

Catelynn Baltierra was curious about Bentley’s experience because she was planning to have her six-year-old daughter, Nova, in the delivery room with her for the birth of Catelynn’s youngest daughter, Rya. Catelynn Baltierra, who Teen Mom OG fans have criticized for smoking during her pregnancy, was worried that she might “traumatizing” Nova, and Maci noted that Bentley was “nervous” as she witnessed her delivery.

Nova’s excitement was the driving force for Catelynn to ask her obstetrician to have Nova in the delivery room with her.

Later, Catelynn Baltierra found out that Nova would not be allowed in the delivery room due to COVID-19 restrictions, but her doctor said that decision could change depending on the course of the pandemic.

Teen Mom shared a clip of the scene on its official Instagram account, and not all Teen Mom OG fans agreed with Catelynn’s decision to consider letting Nova into the delivery room to watch her give birth.
