It hasn’t been an easy journey for the family, but now things are getting even more complicated. In this week’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Ari and Bini face new scary parenting obstacles. In a teaser clip released by People, the couple takes their 9-month-old son Aviel to the pediatrician. They had noticed a pronounced “lump in his groin area,” which showed up when he cried, exerted himself or got angry.

That her son needs surgery disturbs Ariela, who says she finds the operation “very extreme.” Dr. Tesfaye reassures her, however, saying that while it is indeed shocking, it is common in pediatrics. He says many babies undergo this surgery.

Nevertheless, Ari tells the doctor that she is nervous about the idea of her young son going under anesthesia. She asks the doctor if they can postpone the surgery. However, Dr. Tesfaye explains that the surgery must be done as soon as possible because the hernia is in Avi’s bowel. He explains that if the surgery is postponed, there could be further problems.
