90 Day Fiance: Paola Mayfield Confirms Her Breakup

Unlike what fans have come to expect from the show, 90 Day Fiance gives almost no lasting couples. Most of the couples that have appeared on the show end up splitting up sometime during the show or right after having a baby together.

Well, even though the couple didn’t like each other much, fans were pretty proud that TLC veterans Paola Mayfield and Russ Mayfield lasted together despite complications.

90 Day Fiance: Paola Mayfield Confirms Her Breakup

When Paola and Russ first appeared on the TLC show, not many fans expected them to last together because they had too many problems between them. However, the couple eventually got married and have been living happily since they welcomed their son.

Russ had to move to Miami, leaving his job for Paola, who wanted to be the breadwinner instead. Since then, the Colombian TV star has tried her hand at different professions, not many of which have been pursued for long.

Eventually, she started her wrestling career and has been training for it ever since. The 90 Day Fiance star had her first match recently and after which she was also injured. However, fans have debated about her career choices and accused her of making Russ unemployed.

Paola Mayfield insisted that she, as a woman, has every right to be the breadwinner if she wants. Now, it seems that things weren’t going well with Russ, and Paola chose her new career over her husband and baby daddy.

Now, the TLC celebrity said in a tweet, “Part of the reason why relationships end is that we get caught up in other things.” Paola went on to say that couples usually forget to appreciate each other. So, she said, “marriage isn’t a priority anymore.”

Fans were quick to show their disappointment, certain that the reality star left her husband for her wrestling career. Later, Paola posted another tweet saying, “People asked me why I don’t take pictures with my husband,” and added, “I just don’t like to pretend”. Along w ith this, she also mentioned the hashtag, “#youareguessingright”.
