Double Shot At Love: Marissa Didn’t Expect To Fall For Anyone In Season 2

Marissa Lucchese and Brandon Stakemann had an on-again-off-again romance during Double Shot At Love Season 2. Find out if Marissa has been talking to her Las Vegas fling since season 2 wrapped.

Marissa is a makeup artist, but she always felt she had to be on television. “I’ve always wanted to be on some kind of reality TV,” Marissa explained on The Moral Hangover podcast. “Whether it was acting, in movies, commercials, or the end of reality.

Marissa never thought about becoming a real star until she went through a difficult breakup. “I had to get a restraining order,” she admitted on the podcast. I was like, “I’m in such a dark place now, and I want to make a change, get out of my comfort zone, put myself out there, and see what happens.

So, Marissa combed through the shows that were cast on MTV.com. After filling in a questionnaire, she got a call from the producers the next day.

Double Shot At Love: Marissa Didn’t Expect To Fall For Anyone In Season 2

Marissa Lucchese blindly went to season 1 of Double Shot at Love. When MTV was casting for the show, they didn’t tell anyone which reality star they would be dating.

“They called me one day and said, “We’re doing this bachelor show,” Marissa said during the podcast. “They didn’t really say what it was for Season 1 of Double Shot. We didn’t even know it was going to be two stars.”

At first, Marissa had her sights set on Pauly DelVecchio. Unfortunately, it didn’t work romantically between them. After season 1, Lucchese remained friends with DelVecchio and his buddy Vinny Guadagnino. That’s why she was invited back for season 2.

While the starting point of season 2 was to live and work in Las Vegas, Marissa finally returned to season 1 and fell for one of her roommates.

Stakemann joined the cast for season 2 together with Antonio Locke and Nicky Curd. He ended up with Lucchese, who agreed to go with the flow and connect nonchalantly without absorbing feelings.

As the situation evolved, Lucchese finally fell for Stakemann. Despite being repeatedly hurt by his actions, Lucchese remained with him throughout the season.
