Mama June Shannon’s daughter, Alana Thompson, has ditched the fake eyelashes and makeup in favor of a natural look. The 15-year-old took to social media to announce to fans that Mama June Shannon would be returning to TV screens in a new season of Road To Redemption.

Alana opted for a more understated look after she was criticized by fans for wearing fluttery falsies and a face full of makeup.

The former child pageant star kept the look simple with mascara, a smoky eye and slightly brown eyebrows. She told her 869k followers of the new season, “You should watch for sure, because you are about to see some crazy things.”

Last week, the reality star responded to haters who made fun of her body in a new photo with full-glam makeup and nails.

The Mama June: From Not To Hot star has had to deal with Internet trolls about her figure lately, and has defended herself. One snap saw the Toddlers & Tiaras star posing in front of a mirror while making a duck face, with long false eyelashes, a face full of makeup and two-inch acrylic nails.

She captioned the post, “Can’t stand me? Sit down,” as she slammed followers for trolling her content. The TV personality has faced relentless backlash from the public about her appearance and her family.

In January, the child star defended herself against Instagram users who called her a “Hot Cheeto Girl.” According to Urban Dictionary, a “Hot Cheeto Girl” describes someone who wears a lot of hoop earrings, vans, thrasher sweatshirts, fake nails and is “always ready to fight.”
