Vanderpump Rules: Lala Kent Shows Off A Different Side Of Her Personality

Lala Kent has always been one of the most controversial stars of “Vanderpump Rules.” However, she has also been a star who has been able to adapt and grow as circumstances changed in the series.

After getting engaged in 2018, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett separated in late 2021 and she is raising their child, Ocean, as a single mom. Not only is she a recovering drug addict, but she has had to put her pride in her pocket when it comes to some relationships.

In July she spoke to Us Weekly about her volatile relationship with Jax Taylor. Lala Kent said, “I’m cordial with him because Brittany [Cartwright] is one of my best friends.” Cartwright and Taylor have been married since 2019 and have a son. Apparently Kent has realized that friendships sometimes require a bit of give and take, and she has to get along with Taylor if she wants to be a part of Cartwright’s life. Fortunately, the two friends know what they have of each other.

In the spirit of change, Lala Kent is also sporting a new look. On July 14, she shared her new hairstyle with fans on Instagram. Mom wore her hair in a high bun and showed off her feathered bangs.

Lala Kent has always been fierce, but fans have seen a new side to her personality since she gave birth to her baby Ocean. In 2021 she wrote, “Someday I will be Lala again…. but now my identity is Ocean.” 

With all the changes in her life, it seems natural that she was debating whether to film season 10 of “Vanderpump Rules.” Kent spoke to Us Weekly about this decision, revealing, “I literally was still deciding if I wanted to come back the night before we even started.” Bravolebrity revealed that she feels that participating in the show drains her. But, after watching a vintage episode of “The Real Housewives of New York,” Kent said she “itching for a camera to be in my face.”
