The second season of FBoy Island officially kicked off on HBO Max on July 14, and leads Louise Barnard, Mia Emani Jones and Tamaris Sepulveda are meeting more than two dozen kids. Some of them are self-proclaimed FBoys, who have a chance to steal the $100,000 prize at the end of the season. The others are Nice Guys, who are on the show for the right reasons (finding love).
As they try to figure out who is honest and who is lying for the money, the ladies form genuine bonds with some of the men.
One contestant who is already standing out from the others is Benedict Polizzi. From his hilarious confessionals to his immediate connection with Louise, Benedict may be the favorite to win her heart (and to secure a share of the $100,000 prize).
Who Is Benedict Polizzi From ‘FBoy Island’?
The 31-year-old is from Indiana and, when he is not trying to woo Louise on FBoy Island, he is a comedian. Although some of the guys on the show join for fame and followers, Benedict entered the series with more than 80,000 followers on Instagram and more than 1.4 million fans on TikTok. Benedict often shares comedic content, such as his “Polite Catcalling” videos and “Who’s Buying This?” series (and his skits in which he imitates people from other professions), on his public Instagram and TikTok feeds. Both accounts can be found under the name @BenedictPolizzi. Since 2018, he has also performed stand-up shows. The second season character also hosts a comedy podcast called Espresso.
Now that viewers know why Benedict is so good at making people laugh out loud in his confessionals, one question remains: did he join the show for love or for a chance to secure the entire $100,000 prize?
While Benedict came across as a good guy on the show, his co-star, Mercedes Knox, tried to tell Louise that the comedian was an FBoy on the show.
