In the midst of the volatile situation taking place in her home country, 90 Day Fiance alum Yara Zaya released a statement regarding the news she has heard from friends and her feelings about the unrest. Yara Zaya expressed concern and sadness for her loved ones and the fate of her country and a message to haters who may be critical of her at this time.

When Yara Zaya first appeared on season 8 of 90 Day Fiance, she came to the United States to marry Jovi Dufren shortly before the coronavirus pandemic began in 2020 and has not returned to Ukraine since.

Yara Zaya’s statement was made in an Instagram post and came as unrest in Ukraine intensified and Russian forces became more aggressive.

Yara Zaya took to Instagram to share her fears and concerns with 90 Day Fiance fans about what’s happening in her home country of Ukraine with Russia’s hostile actions.

In a black and white photo of herself in front of a Ferris wheel in Ukraine, Yara added a heartfelt caption giving her perspective on the unrest in Ukraine and what she has heard from friends.

She finished with a message to her haters saying, “For hater because they still say bad staff even in this difficult time ‘I love my country so much, yes, I live in USA because I got married, but I still love my country'”

During her various appearances within the 90 Day Fiance franchise, Yara talked about missing Ukraine, her friends and family, and expressed her desire to visit. However, there was no trip home. She also threatened her husband Jovi to take their daughter Mylah back to Ukraine with her if he did not meet her needs in America.
