Hulu has turned rumors of a KUWTK spinoff into reality. Literally. Unveiling the details of the KUWTK clan’s new reality show, “The Kardashians,” Hulu announced everything from the cast to the premiere date. And yes, we even got the sneak peek of the promo!

But on an intriguing note, Kardashian-Jenner mom/manager/queen Kris Jenner has become a legal eagle. And somehow Kris managed to sync her branding of a NEW production company with the announcement of Hulu’s new TV show. Coincidence? We’ll share the details below and let you decide!

How Is ‘The Kardashians’ Different From ‘KUWTK’?

When KUWTK stars like Kim Kardashian announced that season 20 would mark the last season, fans went into mourning. How could they survive (sob) without their weekly infusion of the famous family? Well, Kardashian and Jenner fans didn’t have to survive long!

Hulu just confirmed the growing rumors of a Keeping Up With The Kardashians spinoff by announcing a new reality show, “The Kardashians.” So how exactly does the reboot differ from the original? In its promo, tweeted earlier this month, the streaming service tried to answer that question.

As the sneak peek video showed, the cast has shrunk. For example, Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband, Kanye West, appears noticeably absent from the preview. And “The Kardashians,” which debuts April 14, will do double duty by airing on Disney+ internationally and on Star+ in Latin America, as well as on Hulu.

Right after promising that “fans will love seeing us continue the journey” on “The Kardashians,” Kris Jenner went legal by filing trademark papers, according to TMZ.

And her decision reflects the behind-the-scenes work she’s done to turn the Jenner and Kardashian clan into a profitable entity. Oh, by the way, Kris now prefers the title of President rather than mom or manager, at least according to legal documents! These documents show that Jenner plans to trademark “Kardashian Jenner Productions.” But details on what exactly Kris will pursue under that umbrella remain vague. And President Kris may have deliberately chosen to withhold details in addition to continuing to focus on “all things entertainment and pop culture.” We feel confident in predicting, though, that the KUWTK alum is sure that fans will love her efforts and that she will be fabulous!
