Kylie Jenner may need to extend her Instagram break after Travis Scott’s fatal Astroworld festival. The Kylie Cosmetics founder hasn’t been on social media much since 10 people were killed at her boyfriend’s festival in Houston. On Friday 5 November, a crowd stopped the event and injured several people. Although Jenner was attending the festival with her and Scott’s daughter Stormi Webster, they were reportedly unharmed by the chaos. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is currently pregnant with their second child.

After several weeks of silence on Instagram, Jenner posted a photo on her blog. Instead of posting about her, Scott or Storm, she highlighted her mother Kris Jenner’s latest career event.

On Friday, December 24, Jenner shared a photo from the cover of Kris Jenner’ holiday single. Earlier this month, the mum released a cover of Jingle Bells for streaming. The classic song featured Kris on vocals, Kourtney Kardashian on bells and Poosh’s fiancé Travis Barker on drums.

In Jenner’s Instagram post, she added a throwback photo of Kris Jenner in a red sequined dress. She also wore stilettos and red nails. Below the image, Jenner wrote “merry Christmas eve” and added a gift and three black heart emoji.

After her post, many of the beauty mogul’s supporters shared that they missed seeing her online. Others, however, felt it was too early for Jenner to be on Instagram a month after Astroworld.

In addition to a post on her timeline, Jenner gave her fans an insight into how her Christmas went. On Christmas Day, she posted a video of her new pet cat as she relaxes by the fireplace. As the cat sat on Jenner’s baby floor, she placed one hand on its fur with an Instagram boomerang. According to The Daily Mail, she also posted a photo of a stunning $6,000 Judith Leiber clutch, possibly depicting her constellation Leo.

After Astroworld, Jenner released a statement via Instagram Stories. The beauty mogul claimed that neither she nor her boyfriend were “aware” of the fatalities in the post.
