Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 5 debuted with an emotional episode, especially for Angelina Pivarnick. Angelina opened the season by revealing that she is considering divorce from her husband Chris Larangei.

She sought support from Jenni “JWOWW” Farley who, despite having had a tumultuous relationship with Angelina Pivarnick in the past, was more than happy to support her. Having previously been through the divorce process with her ex-husband Roger Mathews, she was able to provide insight and support.

Jenni asked Angelina Pivarnick questions about her relationship to help her decide if divorce was right for her. Angelina Pivarnick was still unsure, even after they saw a lawyer. Now Angelina has opened up about why she has continued to fight for her marriage, despite the setbacks she and Chris faced.

In an interview with Page Six, Angelina Pivarnick shared that she wants to “save” her marriage. Angelina Pivarnick went on to explain how difficult it has been to make her relationship work and that being in the public eye has only made it harder while it’s all happening.

She described their decision to go to therapy as a couple, despite Chris’ initial reluctance. Angelina added that the whole ordeal has been a “whirlwind of craziness” for both her and Chris.

Despite the difficulties they have faced, the two seem desperate to make things work.

Angelina’s trip to talk to the lawyer is the latest in a history of ups and downs for her and Chris Larangeira. After getting married in 2019, rumours spread that the two were having problems when fans noticed them following and deleting each other on social media. Followers also read cryptic messages shared on their social media accounts and noticed how Angelina often went out without Chris Larangeira and rarely posted pictures with him on her page.

Last January, it was reported that Angelina had filed for divorce, but by the summer she had changed her mind and they decided to patch things up.

During a recent season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was sitting with Angelina when she cried, telling him that Chris Larangeira had moved out to take up space. Eventually he came back and it seems they’ve since worked out their issues. Recently Chris moved Angelina into a new home he bought in New Jersey. It’s unclear where their relationship currently stands.
