Kim Kardashian, Paris, And Others Reached Out To Chrissy Teigen

After almost a month of bed rest and a stint at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, as reported by CNN, Chrissy Teigen shared on Instagram that she had a miscarriage. The celeb celeb cookbook author and television personality wrote that she and her husband John Legend were in shock and pain knowing that everything they had done to help the baby was in vain. She revealed that she and Legend had called the baby “Jack,” even though they normally wait until much later to name their children.

Chrissy shared: “To our Jack – I am so sorry that the first moments of your life faced so many complications that we could not give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you. She added: “We are so grateful for the life we have, for our beautiful babies Luna and Miles, for all the wonderful things we have been able to experience. But every day can’t be full of sunshine. On these darkest days we will mourn, we will cry our eyes out. But we will cuddle and love each other harder and get through it.”

She also shared on Twitter, “Driving home from the hospital without a baby. How can this be real? Almost as soon as she shared the news, dozens of her celebrity friends expressed their support.

Chrissy’s very good friend Kim Kardashian was one of the first to comment on the post and wrote: “We are always here for you and love you so much”. Gabrielle Union and LaLa Anthony also sent a similar expression of support. “So much love and prayers for you, John, and the family. My heart goes out to you,” Anthony wrote.  Cara Delevingne, Paris Hilton, Channing Tatum, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Charlie Puth, and Hailey Bieber are just a handful of other celebrities who responded to the tragic news of Teigen and husband John Legend. In addition, Sarah Paulson, Viola Davis, Selma Blair, Chelsea Peretti, Naomi Campbell and even Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer all shared their love.

“Sending you and John so much love,” Delevingne said. “My heart is breaking for you and John. I’m so sorry for your loss… “Love you beautiful,” Hilton shared.

Melissa Fumero also sent a message, applauding Teigen for her strength. “I am so amazed and awestruck by your courage. You have given so many women the feeling of being seen by sharing this intimate sadness. I hope that the outpouring of love you receive helps to heal you and your family… May you always feel Jack’s love around you,” she wrote.

Chrissy Teigen’s openness and honesty about her pregnancy and miscarriage is likely to resonate with other women and their partners who have experienced the same kind of loss. Hopefully, they and Legend have space and time to grieve in their own way.
