Sister Wives star Kody Brown is holding on to the last little bit of control he has left this week on TLC. Kody has lost one wife and seems to be taking his anxiety out on the three women who plan to stay.
That’s sure to cause problems for Janelle Brown as a new episode of season 17 airs Sunday night. Kody Brown seems to need to stay in control of both the residence and the finances of the remaining wives.

Kody Brown has a problem for Janelle Brown to deal with this week. It seems he doesn’t want to do it because she provides the details. In that regard, it is a rather urgent matter. So her input is needed because this problem is not going to solve itself.
The home she’s renting is about to go on the market. So the landlord gives her two months to move out. After talking to a realtor in the area, Janelle feels stuck. She learns that it’s hard to find a rental apartment in Flagstaff.
While she could buy the house she currently lives in, she prefers that all her assets go to Coyote Pass to build a home. He tells Kody Brown this and she immediately starts to stammer.
With nowhere to live in a couple of months, Kody Brown has nothing to offer Janelle Brown. She agrees that buying a house now would take away the funds they need to build. He also argues that she wouldn’t need a big house to rent and seems able to find one. This is after she has already told him that she has looked into the matter and that there simply aren’t many rental houses. But the patriarch of Sister Wives has an answer. Kody says that when he and Robyn Brown were looking for rentals before buying their current house, that wasn’t the case. He saw many smaller rental apartments that would be perfect for Janelle.
Fans are up in arms about it on social media. She lives in a mansion with Robyn as they wait for the houses to go up. But he is pushing Janelle’s home towards a broom cupboard to save money. He also doesn’t seem too worried that his other wife is almost homeless as he only has two months to move.
Kody blames Christine Brown for leaving them all in the lurch. He has no idea what she plans to do with his Coyote Pass property. So far, Kody claims they have not yet subdivided the plots for the sisters’ individual plots. So he wouldn’t know of any property lines for Janelle to build on yet.
