Sister Wives: Kody Brown And Janelle Brown Had To Watch Hunter Graduate On Screen

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown’s son Hunter proudly shared photos from his United States Air Force Academy graduation after five years of training.

The newly-qualified Armed Forces officer, gave followers a taste of the impressive ceremony that saw the 967 graduates throw their hats in the air as jets flew overhead. Vice President Mike Pence gave a speech in front of the 2020 class, in which he congratulated them on their achievements.

Hunter Brown wrote on Instagram: “5 long years and one hell of a weekend! The people and memories of this place will be the ones I will cherish forever”.

Her mother Janelle was unable to attend the ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She shared the bittersweet news on her Instagram account with a proud photo of her and Kody Brown’s son, Hunter, in front of the flag, receiving his greeting certificate.

She wrote next to a picture of Hunter Brown in uniform: “This year is full of unusual and bittersweet things. It’s not how we imagined we would watch Hunter commission and graduate, but here we are”. There’s a big graduation ceremony tomorrow. #Aairforcemom… Proud.”

The 50-year-old kept fans informed of her son’s progress as he made his way into the Air Force Academy since 2015.

Hunter Brown also shared his experience with updates on how he’s doing with military training.

In August 2019 he wrote: “An incredible opportunity and learning experience to work as squadron commander for Squadron Charlie during BMT preparatory school.

“I am very proud of Squadron Charlie and the development they had during BMT. It was also very nice to have the opportunity to do the full tour and spend my last summer at USAFA in the same place I spent my first summer!

Hunter’s brother Garrison previously registered with the National Guard on July 12, 2016 and graduated.

Kody’s son and Christine’s son, Paedon, also graduated from National Guard training camp in April 2019.
