The Family Chantel Viewers Take Chantel’s Side Over Pedro’s

During the last episode of The Family Chantel it became apparent that the rift in Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett’s marriage is stark. Fans of the couple saw Pedro throwing himself uncharacteristically at Chantel and heard Chantel talk about the things that bothered her about Pedro.

To that end, viewers of The Family Chantel sided with Chantel regarding Pedro’s behavior and attitude toward her that she denounced in the episode.

Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett are approaching their fifth year of marriage and have just bought a house together. Pedro has settled into his new job in real estate, while Chantel is busy with her career as a nurse. Their disagreement stems from the fact that Pedro feels that Chantel has been lazy in keeping house and meeting his needs, as he did for her when she was in nursing school.

Chantel Everett feels that she has supported Pedro as much as possible, but she feels that he does not want to deal with the basic problems of her family and is targeting her unjustifiably.

Chantel’s parents, Karen and Thomas, noticed the tension between Pedro and Chantel during the housewarming party and questioned Chantel about it in the car the next day. Chantel avoided skepticism, but her parents said during the private interview that they would continue to press the situation.

According to the trailer for the next episode, Chantel and Pedro will have another argument, and Chantel will turn to her brother to find a place to stay. The rest of the family will be made aware of the incident and Karen and River will get involved by going to talk to Pedro.
