‘Counting On’: Some wonder about Jana Duggar’s future

Grace Annette Duggar was born on January 7. She is the first child of John David, 30 years old, and his wife Abbie Grace Duggar, 27 years old. The couple married in November 2018.

Jana Duggar has a lot of experience as an aunt. She has 16 other cousins from her other siblings. But Gracie is special, because she’s the first-born of her twins. And John David seems to know that the couple will have a special bond.

“Oh, she’s gonna love her aunt Jana!” The @johnandabbie Instagram account answered Jana’s mail.

Jana posted earlier about how happy she was to meet Gracie.

“Since John and I were little, we’ve been asked if we have that “twin thing,” she wrote on Instagram on January 12th. “You know, the thing where you feel what the other person feels or knows what the other person thinks. Well, John, I’ve always answered that with a no, but now I can honestly say that the day little Gracie was born I felt every bit of happiness you did, so I think it has to be real!”

On Instagram, fans gushed over the picture of Jana rocking the newborn. Many responded with comments such as, “Beautiful,” “precious,” and “adorable.”

“You’re such a great aunt and Gracie is blessed to have you because you’ll always have a special relationship with her since her daddy’s twins!” they wrote.

While many people had kind remarks about Jana’s post, some took the opportunity to speculate about her future. At 30, Jana is the oldest single Duggar. Many Counting On fans have wondered when she might get married and if it bothers her to see her younger siblings start a family of their own while she still lives at home.

“I love how you always rejoice with and for your siblings. Not jealous, not bitter or upset because it’s not your turn,” says someone about Jana’s post.

“Why are you still single? You are the most beautiful sister inside and out,” another asked.

“When is Janna going to find a husband?” She’s almost 30,” another blunt remark read.

While the fans are worried about her future, Jana seems to be satisfied. When a fan at Instagram told Jana that she was hoping to find her “handsome prince” soon, her response was lighthearted.

“Maybe he’s riding a green turtle instead of a white horse. 🤣,” she replied. “Still looking for Mr. Right. In Michael Bublé’s words, “I haven’t met him yet!”

She discussed being single in an episode of Counting On in 2019, explaining that she had been involved with several boys in the past, but that it didn’t work out. And she liked that.

“If I was sitting here waiting to get married, I think that would be more depressing, but instead, I really look at this as, OK what are other things that I could do now that I might not be able to do later?” she said. “I’ve really enjoyed the different possibilities I’ve had [like] travel; even still being able to travel with my family who maybe my married siblings can’t do”.
