Kody Brown of Sister Wives has spent all of season 17 proving that he doesn’t understand the needs of his four wives. Fans of the famous series have been angry at Brown’s family patriarch for years, but season 17 has proven just how horribly he has treated most of his long-term partners.
However, Kody seems to be getting pettier and pettier. In his pettiest moment yet, he actually wondered whether he should have told one of his brides that he ‘didn’t like her’.
Christine Brown has been on her own since leaving her husband. Although Christine left Flagstaff, Arizona, more than a year ago, Sister Wives fans are only now getting a chance to see her decision-making process.
In Sister Wives’ 17th season, Christine has become honest about her feelings. She has made it clear that her ex-husband, Kody Brown, never met her emotional needs. She once even called Kody a coward. While her husband of more than two decades agrees with her assessment, it’s not for the reasons you might think.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Believes He Was Cowardly
At one point, Kody Brown admitted that his behaviour had been cowardly. The revelation lasted only a short time. While it would have been nice if Kody had grown from the experience and taken responsibility for what happened in his and Christine’s marriage, he didn’t.
He didn’t think it was cowardly to emotionally abandon a pluralistic marriage without telling the woman. Kody didn’t even believe that his treatment of his children was morally reprehensible.
Instead, Kody Brown suggested in one interview that he was a ‘coward’ for not telling his third wife, Christine Brown, that he ‘didn’t like her’. Kody, however, could not let the insults stand. He took the opportunity to take another swipe at Christine.
He said that despite his dislike for his third wife, he had not “quit”. While Kody may believe this, Sister Wives fans believe he really did give up; he was just a silent quitter. The unbelievable moment took place in the closing moments of the season 17 episode “Life After Polygamy”.
