In recent weeks, Sister Wives stars Meri Brown and Kody Brown have been going through the hardest time in their relationship. With each passing week, the couple have grown more and more distant. Sometimes it’s Meri, sometimes it’s Kody.

But both are now equally feeling the pressure of a marriage breakdown. Besides, emotionally and sexually, there is nothing like the marriage that has come between them.

The marriage has taken an abrupt turn because Kody Brown has made a shocking statement about his wife Meri. Last Sunday night, Sister Wives patriarch Kody released information that was shocking and offensive to some fans.

In Sunday’s episode, we saw Meri Brown excited to meet her husband. After a long time away, they planned a trip to rekindle old sparks and bonds. The meeting was planned to celebrate their 30th anniversary and their life together. The mother of two also said she was excited to go out with Kody, People reported.

Sea said: “You know, I don’t know what we’re going to do, we’re just going to kind of wing it, but I’m excited to spend some time with him, honestly.”

Meri seemed very hopeful for this nice anniversary. But it seems Kody is not keen on mending relations with his wife after what he said over the weekend.

Speaking to the cameras, the father of the family said they have faced problems in their pluralistic marriage for a long time.

He mentioned that he and Meri Brown had been having such problems long before Janelle ever joined their family. But it was the catfishing scandal that really woke them up to their real situation.

He even said they went to a lot of counselling and therapy for a couple of years. But nothing worked. Kody also made the big revelation that he hadn’t even slept with Meri in a while. There is no such thing as a “sexual relationship” that exists between them. Kody went on to say that he was “looking for a spark”, something to initiate some kind of desire for a relationship. And during that time, according to him, it has never manifested itself.
