In the final episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown clearly regrets the way life played out for him. The whole family gathered for Ysabel’s graduation/birthday party. It was coordinated by her mother Christine Brown and it was such a big deal for so many reasons. However, Kody struggled to be excited as she felt a dark cloud hanging over her head.

Everyone was very happy to finally be able to celebrate Ysabel with their families. They were able to hug and be in close contact as some were vaccinated and others just tested negative. All the women were there, including Robyn, Meri and Janelle. Kody Brown, however, was sad throughout the event. She claimed she just couldn’t be happy.

At first, it looked like he was going to talk about the pandemic again. It was, after all, what was bothering him at Christmas 2020. He couldn’t shake off the stress and tension of what had happened during that time to enjoy that first family gathering.

Unfortunately, Kody Brown was in his angry state during Ysabel’s big day. He was so angry that he had to go through this breakup with Christine Brown. It was one of the last times they had such a moment. In a few months, Ysabel was due to move to North Carolina for college. Christine Brown was also going to Utah with Truely, so the family would be officially separated. In a way, Kody hoped this celebration would be enough to make Christine want to stay. Obviously it wasn’t, since she’s made her decision, and one good day doesn’t erase all the bad ones.
