1000-Lb Sisters Star Amy Calls First Baby’s Birth ‘Miracle’
As revealed by 1000-Lb Sisters, Amy Slaton embarked on her weight-loss journey with the prospect of having a healthy baby in mind. But viewers of the reality series also learned that Amy faced challenges giving birth. The 1000-Lb Sisters star had to undergo a Caesarean section to welcome her first child, a baby boy she named Gage. Amy Slaton told People magazine that while she was in the recovery room, she couldn’t hold her newborn.
When Amy Slaton and her husband decide to have another child, it’s not just their lives that will be affected. Her sister, Tammy Slaton, has said that the pregnancy caused her “all sorts of things”.
Ultimately, although Amy Slaton wants a second child, her health may become a priority in the third season.
