Alaskan Bush People: Ami Brown’s Lung Cancer Diagnosis

In an Instagram post, Bear Brown shared a photo of his mother sitting on his father’s lap, who can be seen posing with a thumbs up.

Bear Brown revealed that the photo was taken when his mother was in Los Angeles for her cancer treatment. He also shared that his father was with his mother the entire time and described their relationship as “the truest of true love.”

For those who don’t know, Ami Brown was diagnosed with lung cancer. Her doctors said she only had a 3% chance of survival when she received her diagnosis, which revealed that her cancer had spread throughout her lungs.

After several months of treatment, doctors said Ami was cancer-free. Billy Brown was with Ami Brown the whole time and felt so happy and relieved when his wife was finally cured.

On Mother’s Day, Bear Brown shared a post praising his mother for her strength, months after the love of his life passed away. Bear admired his mother’s strength and for being there for her children after Billy’s death.
