’Chrisley Knows Best’: Beckett’s Spirits Has Officially Dropped Todd Chrisley.

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are in the midst of a tumultuous legal journey: the couple was recently found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion. Julie was also convicted on a separate charge of wire fraud, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

The couple — co-starring in the hit U.S. series “Chrisley Knows Best” — was accused of creating false documents to obtain $30 million in fraudulent bank loans. The family’s alleged criminal behavior reportedly began long before they became public figures.

The conviction comes more than two years after the reality stars were indicted by a federal grand jury for financial crimes. At the time, Chrisley’s lawyers – Bruce H. Morris and Stephen Friedberg – had admitted denying the charges. “The allegations contained in the indictment are based on complete falsehoods. The Chrisleys are innocent of all charges,” they told People in 2019. And while Todd and Julie have vowed to oppose the sentencing, the backlash for their convictions just got worse.

Todd Chrisley will return to court in October for sentencing on his tax evasion case, but the reality star has just received another piece of bad news amid his ongoing legal troubles. According to Us Weekly, Tinley Beverage Company Inc. – which owns Beckett’s Spirits — has dropped its brand ambassador agreement with Chrisley.

In a press release provided to the outlet, the beverage company noted that it had “notified and terminated” its partnership with the reality star. The agreement called for Chrisley to collaborate with the company-which makes non-alcoholic cocktails-on promotional campaigns and even a specialized product line.

And as the fallout from Chrisley’s conviction continues, the couple has reportedly hired new lawyers to lead their appeal. Radar Online reports that the couple has “retained additional counsel” and asked the judge to grant an extension of time for the new legal team to prepare to request a new trial.

For fans wondering what will happen to the family’s popular US series, the network plans to air the ninth season of the reality show in its entirety. However, sources close to the family revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that scenes from the upcoming season of “Chrisley Knows Best” were filmed before the trial began.
