’Chrisley Knows Best’: Lindsie Also Spoke Out İn Support Of Her Estranged Family

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s federal trial did not end the way they hoped: the “Chrisley Knows Best” stars were found guilty of multiple federal charges, including bank fraud and tax evasion, USA Today reports.

The Chrisleys were initially indicted in 2019 and their trial began in May 2022. Prosecutors accused the celebrity couple of filing false documents to secure large loans, as well as falsifying credit reports and bank statements to secure a rental home in California.

As a result, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley ended up defrauding banks of more than $30 million. They were released on bail and placed in home detention, which means the Chrisleys can only leave for certain specific reasons, while their spending is closely monitored. The couple’s accountant, Peter Tarantino, was found guilty with them of conspiracy to defraud and knowingly filing false tax returns. Recently, Julie and Todd Chrisley’s lawyer revealed how things really are after the guilty verdict, sharing how devastated the reality stars are that things didn’t work out for them. According to People, the Chrisleys also thanked fans for their continued support. And now, a confidant of the Chrisleys further clarifies their position behind the scenes.

’Chrisley Knows Best’: Lindsie Also Spoke Out In Support Of Her Estranged Family

Although this is undoubtedly a difficult time for them, one positive thing has emerged from Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s legal troubles: their estranged daughter Lindsie Chrisley has bridged the gap between the family in a surprisingly public way.

According to Us Weekly, during a recent episode of her podcast, “Coffee Convos,” Lindsie Chrisley expressed regret for the way she had previously spoken about her family. In particular, the former reality star wanted to make it clear that there is room for reconciliation, acknowledging that she had “put my foot in my mouth” by stating otherwise.

Lindsie Chrisley confirmed, once and for all, that she loves her parents, siblings, and grandmother unconditionally. Although the podcaster is not sure what the future holds for her, she is sure of this above all else. The “Chrisley Knows Best” alumna testified in support of her parents during the trial, painting Todd Chrisley as a dedicated father who was less interested in his business because he focused first and foremost on his family. The two have been estranged since 2012, when Lindsie eloped with ex-husband Will Campbell against her father’s wishes.

Lindsie’s comments are in stark contrast to the podcaster’s negative reaction when, in August 2021, Todd had spoken out in support of his daughter after the divorce was announced. At the time, People noted that Lindsie was not impressed with his choice to address her publicly, claiming that there were many opportunities to speak privately. Fortunately, the father-daughter duo seemed to have resolved their issues in the months since.
