Noi and Steve managed to avoid most of the chaos that has marred other couples in season 14 of Married at First Sight, but fans aren’t sure Noi belongs in the experimental dating series at all.
While Noi and Steve seem to be one of – if not the – most stable newlyweds in season 14, viewers of MAFS claim that Noi is not ready to be in a mature relationship, let alone marriage. From her insistence that she and Steve live separately to her inability to compromise, here are the reasons why ‘Married at First Sight’ fans think Noi shouldn’t have signed up for season 14.
Married At First Sight: Noi And Steve’s Relationship Has Been Put To The Test In MAFS.
For better or worse, Noi and Steve have taken a back seat in Married At First Sight season 14 as the remaining Boston spouses have worked through a tremendous amount of conflict. While Alyssa broke up on her honeymoon and Lindsey yelled at Mark at the group bowling alley, Steve and Noi enjoyed a rather anticlimactic and traditional relationship.
As season 14 continues, however, fans of MAFS have begun to worry that Noi doesn’t really want to be married at all. Despite her functioning marriage, Married At First Sight viewers think that Noi should not have signed up for season 14.
At first, Married At First Sight fans claimed that Steve would be the husband who would cause conflict in his and Noi’s relationship. Viewers argued that it wasn’t fair for Steve to sign up for Married At First Sight’s 14th season without a stable job, as Noi claimed it was important to him that he start a family with financial stability.
However, as the husbands have moved on, it has become apparent to some fans that Noi may not be in a mature marriage and should not have originally participated in MAFS. For example, in the last episode of season 14, Noi shared that she wanted to live apart from Steve while they were still getting to know each other. Fans argue that if Noi wanted to take things slow, she shouldn’t have joined season 14.
Noi was head over heels married to Steve at the start of season 14, but over the last few episodes viewers have become convinced that Noi is not cut out for an experimental dating programme. Based on her reluctance to approach Steve and her emotional immaturity, fans of Married at First Sight believe that Noi should not have signed up for season 14. Sadly, Noi and Steve have become the same doomed couple as all the other doomed couples of season 14 of Married at First Sight.
