While the star of My Big Fat Fabulous Life squatted with her mother because of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), her fiance Chase Severino dropped a bomb. He revealed he was pregnant with another woman. The news ended their engagement and left Thore speechless. Fortunately, she had a friend to rely on at this difficult time.

Whitney Thore announced that she and Chase Severino broke up in a May 22nd Instagram post.
“After experiencing many ups and downs and still living apart, Chase reconnected with a woman with whom he had a long history,” wrote the TLC star. “Chase recently told me this information and the fact that it had led to a pregnancy”.
Later, in a video shared by TLC, Whitney opened up a little more about the breakup. She said Chase Severino wanted to tell her the news in person, but because of the pandemic, she asked him to tell her over the phone. Since then, the two of them have had no contact whatsoever.
“I had that one conversation with Chase,” Whitney said. “He tried to get back in touch with me,” she added, saying she didn’t feel able to talk about what had happened.

With her relationship in ruins, Whitney turned to an old friend for support, Buddy Bell. She shared that after the breakup, there was a night when she “started to get really anxious”.
“I actually had a very strong panic attack,” she said, explaining that she called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Once she was discharged, she had no way to get home. So she called Buddy Bell. He drove her home and eventually stayed. The two of them were quarantined together for about six weeks. “It was really nice having him here… not being alone is a huge thing,” Thore said.
Why would she talk to him, the whole relationship thing was made up for ratings. If it was a “real” relationship, why would she talk to him ever again, he cheated on her, right?

I agree that the “relationship” seemed made up for ratings. No shade on Whitney, but the way it swiftly started seemed fake. No loss to her.
This subject is so old and tired already especially since it was fake the whole time anyway. I called it fake from day one. Then the breakup and Whitney wasn’t paralyzed. Oh please stop beating us over the head like we are imbeciles. No one with a drop of functional brain cells ever believed this crap. Chase got his 15 minutes of fame and Whitney was trying to squeeze out another boring season of what this stupid storyline has degraded into over time. Over it all. Si I guess they win but all the viewers lost big time in this snoozefest. Drop it already. How many times can a fat chick with horrible health and habits roll her fat around with too few clothes on while attempting to do dangerous acts of stupidity that puts herself at great risk of extreme harm? That is not entertainment.
