Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Had Trouble Slowing Down During Quarantine

Janelle Brown sat down with her children during quarantine in the latest episode of Sister Wives to talk about their new normal and how she is struggling to adjust. In this week’s latest episode clip, Kody’s second wife detailed how she coped with adjusting to a new routine at home during the pandemic.

During the height of the pandemic, Arizona was one of the states that closed businesses for fear of spreading the coronavirus. As residents of Flagstaff, the Brown family was forced to change their normal way of life because of the closures.

Janelle Brown herself has admitted that she is “used to going 100 mph” and takes pride in her work and her busyness. She told the cameras during her confession, “I think this virus is different because it’s like, it, you’re, sometimes you’re not even making a choice, and you get it. It’s a risk it seems like you can’t control it. There’s nothing you can do to prevent it.”

Janelle sat outside with her and Kody’s children, who still live at home, Garrison, Gabriel and Savanah. She told them, after talking to their older sister Maddie, who lives in NC, and older brother Logan, that they, too, are feeling the effects of the closure.

Fans remember that Janelle was the only one of Kody Brown’s four wives who told him to “stay away” from her home during the onset of the pandemic. With Kody Brown and Janelle’s older children still living at home, still at work and school, she wanted to minimise the risk of the virus spreading to the rest of the family.

Janelle Brown found it very difficult to cope with staying at home as she is used to being busy. Janelle and Kody Brown’s youngest child, Savanah, had a positive attitude. The 16-year-old pointed out that there are positives to being in quarantine.

Savanah, who Janelle recently introduced in a body positivity post, said that while “our world is so focused on going 100mph,” the virus has given people the opportunity to slow down and focus on the present.

Janelle admitted to having difficulty with routine, everyday tasks like getting dressed and showering. “I’m not that healthy some days. Some days I’m kind of like, struggling to get dressed.” She went on: “This has been a huge emotional thing for me and I didn’t expect it. Every day I have to get up and shower and get dressed because that’s kind of like the ultimatum for me.”
