It’s only Wednesday, but it looks like Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown is already ready to relax with his son on the couch. Brown shared a selfie of himself and his son getting ready for a nap on Instagram and we couldn’t be more jealous. Brown wrote, “We are both ready for naptime,” underneath the sweet father/son photo and fans couldn’t agree more.

However, while many fans commented on both their love and envy for the couple’s sweet photo and their nap, others wondered if the Alaskan Bush People were back on the mountains after last year’s fire.

This summer has been tough for both firefighters and citizens in the western regions of the United States. After intense heat and drought, last summer resulted in some of the worst wildfires the country has ever seen. But while many are making plans to rebuild or move after this year’s fires, the Alaskan Bush People stars are still recovering from the 2020 Palmer forest fire.

After a much-needed move to Washington state, the Browns lost much of their North Star Ranch. The 2020 fire spread to the surrounding mountains in August, leaving little to endure in its wake. Prior to the Palmer fire, the family rushed to save their cattle and, more than a year later, work to rebuild.

Things haven’t been easy lately for the Brown family of Alaskan Bush People. However, amidst everything, they welcomed a beautiful baby girl last month. Gabe and his wife Raquell welcomed their second daughter in September, and their firstborn Sophia seems more than happy to be a big sister. Mom Brown shared in the announcement post regarding their new daughter, “This year has been especially difficult for our family, but with hard times, come blessings.”

While fans have become familiar with the couple’s eldest daughter, Raquell and Gabe plan to keep the name and face of their new baby girl private from the public for now. Raquell’s post acknowledged her and her children’s quiet presence on the show.
